Government Employee Fund Drives
Federal, military, and postal service employees will find Help Hospitalized Veterans in the U.S. Government's prestigious Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). You can designate your payroll deduction gift to Help Hospitalized Veterans by writing our national code number 12251 on your CFC Pledge Form.
The CFC is a program allowing certain charitable organizations to solicit contributions from employees of the federal government. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
The CFC annually reviews participating charities, applying strict criteria designed to ensure that donated money truly reaches those in need. To visit the CFC website click here.
United Way Donor Option
Many companies offer their employees a traditional United Way of America campaign. In most communities you can probably "write-in" Help Hospitalized Veterans on your pledge card. Please include our IRS identification number (95-2706737) and address (36585 Penfield Lane, Winchester, CA 92596).
The United Way is a coalition of charitable organizations in the United States that have traditionally pooled efforts in fundraising. The organization raises money in a number of ways, chiefly through the workplace, where employees can have automatic payroll deductions. To visit the United Way website click here.
Also, some companies will match gifts made to charities by their employees. This is a great way to double your gift to Help Hospitalized Veterans. Please check with your company’s human resources department to find if your company offers matching gifts.
