To be a valuable voluntary service organization for America’s veterans by providing compassionate and comprehensive therapeutic intervention through creative arts activity by facilitating Help Hospitalized Veterans arts and crafts kit programs.

• Reach all veterans in the hospital and community area that would benefit from CCS intervention.
• Involve arts and crafts activity in overall treatment plan for veteran.
• Improve feelings of self-worth and increase self-esteem.
• Improve physical functioning of both fine and gross motor skills.
• Promote independence.
• Facilitate social interaction.
• Teach new skills.
• Provide opportunity for veterans to creatively express themselves.
• Instill an appreciation for the arts.
• Promote involvement in arts independent of treatment.
• Enhance the overall quality of life of America’s veterans.
• Increase awareness of Help Hospitalized Veterans (HHV) program.
• Increase awareness of Craft Care Specialist (CCS) position.
• Increase volunteer hours in HHV/CCS program.
• Increase public awareness of important role of veterans in all our lives.
• Establish good relationships within medical centers.
